On a personal level, I'm feeling pretty good. It also helps the confidence of the coaching staff, teammates and fans who also support me a lot. It was clear to me that I could be in this squad and in the starting XI. The loan spell at Real Valladolid CF has been very good for me in showing that I can be in the starting XI and, from there, keep working on a day-to-day basis and continue to count on my teammates and the coach.

A player needs confidence. It's always important that they give you that importance and confidence that you need to keep growing.

Defensive solidity

It's what I came here for. The loan spell at Real Valladolid CF did me a lot of good, I got that experience in the elite. That's what a defender is based on: defensive character, forcefulness and growth.

Tárrega-Mosquera duo

It's a source of pride. The two of us and more people from the VCF Academy have been sharing a dressing room for a long time. We have that confidence and connection from playing together for a long time and it shows on the pitch.

Quality of the opponents

The change in tier is noticeable. At the end of the day, it's the top flight, and that's what makes you grow, demand the maximum from yourself and keep learning in every game and training session.

International team break

It's helping us to continue working on concepts, assimilating loads and continuing to grow. What we want to show is that we can be a competitive team, that we give our all in the game and, from there, we're sure that the results will start to come. We are focused on working, above all, on defensive strength and solidity because that allows you to keep a clean sheet and be closer to victory.
